Jan 18, 2026. Refurbishment completed in parish center kitchen of St. John the Evangelist Church. It included removal of old cabinets and counter-tops, removal of old wall covering, patching and prepping ceiiing and walls, and painting of pipes, ceiling and walls. New overhead lighting and flooring were installed by professional contractors and a new 10-burner and dual oven gas stove was installed. We also added a new stainless steel work table and wire shelving. It's looking pretty good for a building which opened in 1925.
This multi-week effort was led by PGK Rick Casazza with help from other Knights, including Br. Maurice Wong and PGK Dave Satterfield.
