November 19, 2024. Former District Deputy (FDD) No. 25 Tom Plunkett, a current member and Past Grand Knight of St. John's Council 1622, was presented the "STAR DISTRICT AWARD" at the Nov 19 St. John's council membership meeting from the Maryland State Council for the recent 2023-2024 Fraternal Year. This is a prestigious award to District Deputies who provide continuous direct support for the Maryland State Council to a group of 4-5 individual councils.
