This early St. John's Council seal was used before the council was re-named to Bishop McNamara Council in 1962. Our Financial Secretary would use it to emboss a physical imprint of the seal on formal documents, including annual membership cards. It includes an ornate lion's head decoration.

The second photo shows its imprint on paper enhanced by a pencil tracing.
